Our mission
BELIEV was conceptualised while riding in the majestic Dolomite mountains of Italy. We were inspired to take that feeling and make our clients and their audience feel the same way through storytelling.
Xylon van Eyck
Xylon van Eyck leads the sports marketing work of BELIEV. Xylon developed a passion for broadcasting early in life. Having worked for brands such as 5FM, Kaya FM, SuperSport and Urban Brew Studios, he fulfilled a childhood dream: a career in media. After more than ten years in radio and TV, Xylon transitioned to his other love, professional cycling. He created and implemented the communication strategy for MTN-Qhubeka, the first-ever professional cycling team to ride in the Tour de France. Based in South Africa, he has been commissioned to create and implement content for major international cycling brands such as Cervélo, UNIO, Bigla Pro Cycling Team, CORSO Sports Marketing, inGamba Tours, Supersapiens and Team Novo Nordisk.
Wendy van Eyck
Wendy van Eyck is a strategic, multidisciplinary marketing professional with an eye for bringing clarity and consistency to your brand communications. Her passion is working with non-profit brands. She is proud to have worked with notable organizations across development sectors like Stellenbosch University Alumni, WaterAid, Project Last Mile, World Bicycle Relief, and the African Resource Centre. Her on-point skill sets include brand positioning, media strategy, UX, social media, branding and content creation. Wendy’s goal is to combine her knowledge and experience in these areas to deliver the best creative and strategy to her clients and their audiences. She has undergraduate degrees in communications and linguistics and a Masters degree in development practice.
